We worked with a London Authority to provide professional support and advice on a programme of change which impacted on terms and conditions and pay. This project involved interpretation of complex local and national agreements and, more importantly, working alongside the internal professional lead in a constructive, supporting role focussed on adding value not challenging internal expertise. The changes implemented as a result returned significant savings and created the environment for further change in conditions and working practices.
For a County Council HR team we developed a bespoke workshop to help the team to develop a more commercial approach and deliver risk and options based advice to their clients. Working on real-life examples and using a professional mentoring approach, we supported the team to adopt tools which helped improve consistency, transparency and quality of advice provided on complex employee relations issues. The one-day workshop was followed up with team and individual coaching to help embed learning and put new skills into practice.
